The CTEK MXS 5.0 POLAR is an advanced, fully automatic battery charger specifically designed for extremely cold conditions. Specially developed AC and DC cables ensure reliable operation at temperatures as low as -30°C (-22°F). Ideal for motorcycles, cars and other vehicles requiring reliable battery maintenance during winter.
Intelligent 8-Step Charging
Microprocessor-controlled 8-step charging technology ensures a safe and efficient charging process. Suitable for 12V lead-acid batteries from 1.2 to 110 Ah, the charger also provides maintenance charging for batteries up to 160 Ah. Fully automatic operation makes charging simple and convenient.
Advanced Battery Diagnostics and Recovery
The built-in diagnostic function checks whether a battery can accept and retain a charge. A patented desulfation program helps recover sulfated batteries, while the dedicated Recond mode is designed to recondition deeply discharged batteries.
AGM and Cold Weather Programs
The AGM program provides optimized charging for AGM batteries, including those used in many start-stop systems. A dedicated cold weather program ensures effective charging at low temperatures. For long-term storage, the patented float/pulse maintenance system helps maintain battery condition.
