KLIM Override ALLOY jacket
The KLIM Override Alloy Jacket 2nd Generation is a high-performance hybrid mid-layer specifically engineered to bridge the gap between your base layer and outer shell. Instead of using the same insulation throughout the entire jacket, KLIM strategically combines insulated protection in cold and wind-exposed areas with highly breathable fleece in zones where the body generates the most heat during active riding.
This intelligent hybrid construction makes the Override Alloy particularly effective for demanding motorcycle and powersports use where activity levels and weather conditions are constantly changing. It provides warmth where it is needed while helping excess heat and moisture escape, reducing the risk of overheating often associated with traditional insulated mid-layers.
Targeted insulation without unnecessary bulk
The front and arms feature lightweight 20D ripstop nylon combined with 60 grams of stretch insulation. This construction helps retain body heat and provides insulation in cold and wind-exposed areas without the excessive bulk of a traditionally insulated jacket.
Extreme breathability in high-output zones
Technical grid-back fleece is used across the back and underneath the arms. These high-output zones generate significant heat during active riding and therefore benefit from maximum breathability. The grid structure efficiently wicks moisture away from the body while promoting cooling airflow, all while maintaining a low-profile design that layers comfortably beneath a motorcycle jacket.
Engineered for layering under GORE-TEX®
The Override Alloy is specifically designed as a technical mid-layer beneath a GORE-TEX® shell. By strategically balancing insulation, moisture management and ventilation, it helps the complete layering system perform efficiently during cold rides, demanding off-road sections and rapidly changing conditions.
Maximum freedom of movement
The stretch fabric chassis follows the body's movements and helps prevent restriction in an active riding position. Low-profile grid-back fleece cuffs and a stretch bottom hem minimize unnecessary bulk around the wrists and waist, making the jacket particularly comfortable when worn as part of a multi-layer riding system.
Built for active riders
The KLIM Override Alloy Jacket 2nd Generation is more breathable than the regular Override Jacket and is specifically aimed at riders with higher activity levels. The result is a technical mid-layer that carefully balances warmth, ventilation, moisture management and mobility – ideal for adventure, off-road, snowmobile and other demanding powersports use.
